YFM Accra revitalizes Mensah Sarbah Hall week with star-studded campus entertainment

YFM Accra, Ghana’s premier youth and urban radio station, is set to transform Mensah Sarbah Hall Week into the ultimate campus entertainment experience from July 15-19, 2025, bringing its signature high-energy programming and popular presenter presence to the University of Ghana.

“We are thrilled to partner with Mensah Sarbah Hall to bring an unforgettable week of entertainment and engagement to the University of Ghana campus,” said Erskine Amo Whyte (Rev. Erskine), Programmes Manager of YFM. “This collaboration represents everything YFM stands for – connecting with young people, celebrating excellence, and creating memorable experiences. Our team is committed to delivering the high-energy programming and professional production that will make this Hall Week truly special for the entire university community.”

The five-day celebration will feature YFM’s popular personalities providing live entertainment, professional production, and broadcast coverage throughout the Hall Week festivities. The station’s involvement ensures top-tier sound production, popular YFM personality appearances, and the kind of premium entertainment that has made YFM synonymous with cutting-edge youth culture.

Activity lineup

“We are delighted to partner with YFM to deliver a JCR week celebration offering a bundle of exciting cutting edge-programmes fused with entertainment, education and funfair. Come let’s share the fun together peacefully and happily,” Professor Roger Atinga, Hall Master of Mensah Sarbah Hall indicated.

Hall Week activities will span the entire week with diverse programming including sports competitions, entertainment events, health and wellness initiatives, and cultural celebrations. The comprehensive program is designed to provide something for every member of the hall community while showcasing the vibrant spirit that makes Mensah Sarbah Hall special.

YFM’s production team will provide professional coverage and entertainment throughout all events, ensuring world-class production values that match the academic excellence of the University of Ghana.

The partnership demonstrates YFM’s commitment to educational support and youth empowerment beyond traditional broadcasting. As Ghana’s leading urban radio station, YFM continues to champion causes that matter to young Ghanaians, bringing world-class entertainment to academic institutions.
