The Western Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairman, Kojo Yankah, has said that they RFA chairmen will show the Bankroller of division one side, King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grusah where power lies.

The controversial football administrator during his submission on the proposals for the new statutes described the RFA Chairmen as ‘Goro boys’ which erupted the auditorium.

“I Kojo Yankah won’t sit and allow any selfish person to lead the GFA. We are all waiting for them to bring their manifestos and their ideas on how to move our football forward,” he told Ohene Brenya Bampoe on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show.

“Anybody who calls RFA’s as ‘Goro boys’ will be hot. Alhaji Grusah You want to be the GFA president and you are calling us ‘Goro boys’. He won’t even get a single vote,” he added.

Bankroller of division one side, King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grusah was the center of attraction for a number of minutes at the GFA’s Extraordinary Congress last Thursday at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Centre in Accra.

Alhaji Grusah describing RFA’s Chairmen as ‘Goro boys’ erupted the auditorium.
The comments by Alhaji Grusah did not go down well most of the Regional Football Association chairmen.

They screamed on top of their voices and called on Grusah to withdraw his comments which he later did.

‘Goro boys’ is a pejorative term for unauthorized persons who facilitate processes, mainly through illegal means.
