Zoomlion to ensure Accra is clean during Xmas

The Tema Branch of Zoomlion has held its annual thanksgiving service to appreciate the goodness of God for success chalked by the entity. The thanksgiving service which came off in Tema was under the Theme: “For the Mercies of God we are not consumed”.

In addressing the staff the General Manager of Meridian Waste Services and Zoomlion Tema Region, Mr. Seth Appiah Ocran noted that the challenge of the organisation has been a land filled site to dump their waste.

However the Executive Chairman of Zoomlion is working on mounting a recycle plant in the various districts of the country. He therefore called on government to support this initiated as it will provide organic manure for farmers.

” We are appealing to government to support our Executive Chairman to mount recycling plants in the various districts such that there won’t be the need for a land filled site.” he said.

Mr. Seth Ocran furthered that the staffs are going to be on a standby during the festive season to make sure the city is clean. He called on the general public to try and keep their surroundings clean.

” We are going to make sure some of our staffs are on standby to ensure the city is cleanbut however am appealing to the public to try and keep their surroundings clean” he said.

He called on the general public to register and get litter bins in their various homes as the dumping of waste on the roads is becoming an eye sore.
