Nunoo-Mensah to lock horns with Prof Dodoo for GOC President as nomination list comes out

The quest for who becomes the next Ghana Olympic Committee president has been settled as incumbent, Professor Francis Dodoo has picked nomination forms for the position as the deadline for nominations ended on Tuesday.
President of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation, Ben Nunoo Mensah has also picked forms to vie for the presidency position putting up a straight fight between the two giants in sports administration.
Speaking on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, a member of the Election Committee, Ken Ashigbe released the names and the respective positions they would be vying for.
Paul Atchoe, president for the Volleyball Federation will slug it out with Deborah Kubadzi for the 1st Vice President position while Richard Akpokavie will seek to hang on to his position which Mohammed Sahnoon yearns to wrestle from him.
The congress for the election is slated for the 15th of March at the Alisa Hotel.
36 persons picked up forms at the close of nominations for the various positions:
