Despite being in the second tier of Ghana football for only a short while, Phar Rangers Football Club are clearly leading the way when it comes to kitting and branding.
The Division One campaigners recently had a photo-shoot where they showcased their stunning kits which included their match jerseys, track-suits, foot-wears, travelling bags and backpacks among others.
Phar Rangers, even as a young Division One club, have consistently exhibited a high sense of professionalism in their activities and how they present, project and brand themselves before, during and after games which has made them a model club for other clubs.
Chairman of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah believes proper branding of a club is the way to go in the 21st century.
“Football is what we have decided to do so we must run it just as an oil magnate will run his business. This branding is supposed to be a normal thing for clubs but unfortunately, that isn’t the case. If we are able to run our clubs professionally, then we can make good dividends from the football business we find ourselves in.” Sports lawyer Nana Yaw Amponsah told Happy FM.
