The Egypt Table Tennis National team has won all the gold medals at the 2023 African Games.

Men's singles medal presentation:

Omar Assar (Egypt) – Gold 🥇

Quadri Aruna (Nigeria) – Silver 🥈

Diaw Ibrahima (Senegal) – Bronze 🥉

Hana Goda (Egypt) – Gold 🥇

Dina Meshref (Egypt) – Silver 🥈

Lucie Mobarek (Algeria) – Bronze 🥉

The North African country placed first in both the team events and singles competition.

Aside bagging a Gold medal in the Table Tennis Male’s Singles event, Team Egypt also won Gold 🥇 in the Table Tennis Men’s Team event.#HappySports #AfricanGames #Accra2023OnHappyFM pic.twitter.com/kE1Tat8Wwn

Egypt defeated Nigeria in the Men’s and Women’s Table Tennis team event 3-0 respectively.

The Table Tennis Women’s final was between two Egyptians as Hana Goda defeated her team mate Dina Meshref 4-2 to claim the gold medal.

Omar Assar from Egypt also defeated Nigeria’s Quadri Aruna 3-1 to claim the gold medal in the Table Tennis Men’s Singles.
