It was a night of glitz and glamour on Monday, December 11, as CAF held its 2023 Awards ceremony.
The highlight of the night was when Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen was named the CAF Player of the Year for his outstanding displays for his club and country.
In the other categories, Asisat Oshoala of Nigeria won the Women’s Player of the Year award while Morocco national team head coach Walid Regragui won the Coach of the Year award.
For Ghanaian interest, Black Stars duo Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey were named in the CAF Team of the Year.
