The Director of Legal Affairs at the West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC), Rev. Victor Brew has strongly defended WAEC withholding 2024 WASSCE results, claiming that this is not the first time it happened.
According to him, the issue of withholding results by WAEC is not something new.
He further explained that candidates and stakeholders are aware that WAEC has its own rules and procedures, so if the rules are breached, the results would be withheld.
He made this comment after NUGS stated in their press conference that they would take the necessary actions if WAEC does not release the results in one week.
