Ghana’s Black Princesses have opened camp as preparations begin for their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Head coach Charles Sampson has regrouped his side ahead of the next phase of the qualifiers, following an impressive victory over Tunisia in the previous round.
The Black Princesses brushed aside the North Africans with a dominant 4-0 aggregate win over two legs to book a place in the third round, where they will come up against South Africa.
Sampson and his technical team have already assembled players for the upcoming encounter as they intensify preparations for the crucial tie.
The latest squad includes the return of goalkeeper Jenna Kayla Sarpong, while centre-back Alexandra Tay also makes her way back into the team. Twin sisters Agyeiwaa Gifty and Agyeiwaa Gifty Jr have also earned call-ups.
The full squad selected by the technical team has been released, with Ghana set to face South Africa in February 2026 as the Black Princesses push for another FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup appearance.
