The annual Atta Mills Memorial Hockey Tournament is slated for Saturday July 29 at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey pitch in Accra.
The tournament, which has been on since 2013, is played in honour of the late Ghana president Prof. John Evans Atta Mills who passed on in 2012.
The 5th anniversary celebration Hockey Tournament is put together by Atta Mills Care in partnership with the Ghana Hockey Association.
The late President Mills who was once a hockey player, played an integral role in the construction of the country’s only hockey stadium which enabled Ghana to host the 9th Hockey Cup of Nations successfully in 2009.
The tournament will start at 7am.
