Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, has expressed optimism about the future of Ghana under the 24 hour economy policy.

In an interview on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben, with Bismark Brown, Okoe Vanderpuije emphasized the importance of a 24-hour economy in driving national development.

He said, “We need to relieve Ghanaians. People are ready to work for the country to also work. We will build Ghana together through the 24 hour economy.”

According to Vanderpuije, a 24-hour economy will provide opportunities for Ghanaians to earn a living, ultimately contributing to the country’s growth through taxation.

“The 24 hour economy is important because when you give the people an opportunity to earn a living, they will pay their taxes and in turn build the country,” he added.

This initiative is expected to alleviate economic hardships faced by the common Ghanaian, promoting a sense of unity and collaboration in building the nation.

With the NDC’s majority in parliament, reforms are expected in taxation policies and social welfare initiatives to support the Ghanaian population.

As the country navigates these changes, one thing is clear the 24-hour economy initiative is poised to play a crucial role in shaping Ghana’s economic future.
