The Deputy National Organizer of the main National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Akamba has reminded the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to pack the presidential jet with the missing DKM and God is Love monies to Sunyani in honour of the promise, he made to the victims of the defunct micro-finance company in the Brong Ahafo region.
He said as the New Patriotic Party as it prepares to launch the restoration of the nurses and midwifery allowance in the Brong Ahafo Regional capital, it must be minded by the promise it made to the victims of the micro-finance scam in the region during the last elections.
“The NPP led by the president promised to pay the victims in the micro-finance scam all their missing moneys if it wins the 2016 presidential election’’, he said.
He pleaded with the president and his vice president to as a matter of urgency hire the services of Starbow, if they will not be using the services of the presidential jet to Sunyani for the launch.
You must hire Starbow and pack it with the missing moneys in fulfilment of the promise the party made to the innocent people of the region as of the time of the crisis.
Mr. Joshua Akamba gave this reminder speaking with Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Happy FM’s ‘Epa hoa daben, mid afternoon socio-political show in Accra.
According to him, the victims of the DKM and God is Love are crying and patiently waiting for the president to honour the promise to refund the moneys to the unsuspecting victims of the micro-finance scam in the Sunyani metropolis.
He said restoration of the nurses and midwifery allowance is equally important as the payment of the DKM and God is Love victims.
As the party is organizing fanfare for the restoration of the allowances for government school nurses, it must be reminded the students in the private schools are also Ghanaians who voted in the last elections he added.
