Black Stars versatile player, Edwin Gyimah says playing for Orlando Pirates has been very challenging.

Gyimah, who was caught on a cellphone camera at Cape Town Airport last week exchanging angry words with the club’s Turkish trainer Muhsin Ertugral, and had to be restrained by captain Oupa Manyisa has declared that playing for the ‘Buccaneers’ has not been easy ever since he joined from Mpumalanga Black Aces in the 2015 Premier Soccer League.

“It’s not easy to play for Pirates. If anyone tells you that it’s easy to wear this jersey, tell those people it’s a big lie,” says the 25-year old.

“I’m happy to be playing for this club as it has always been my dream to play for such a big club, but it’s not easy to play for Pirates. On my issue with Ertu is in the past and I wouldn’t want talk about it again. I think we have to let sleeping dogs lie and move on to the next chapter.”

Edwin Gyimah has featured prominently in the South African Premier Soccer League since he left the shores of Ghana in 2011.
