
Over two hundred (200) students have successfully graduated in Hair and Beauty, Beauty and Body therapy, Hairdressing and Fashion designing at the 24th graduation ceremony of the 2nd Image International Skills College.
The event, which coincided with the 39th anniversary of the school, was on the theme; “Shaping the future through knowledge, Creativity and Excellence.
The event was attended by dignitaries who graced the occasion. Some of which were the
Director of Technical , Vocational and Education Training (TVET), Mr. Morrison,
Nii Mantse Bortey Kofi Frankwa II, Mankralo Oyibi, Mrs Mercy Allotey, FC Beauty College,
Chief Executive Director of GH Schools, Mr. Leslie Addo Listowel, Chief Executive Officer , Ghana Enterprises Authority, Miss Margeret Ango, His Lordship Mark Alliful and Honourable Emmanuel Nii Okine Laryea family members and industry leaders.
The Executive Director and CEO of 2nd Image International Skills College, Nikki Boa-Amponsem in her address inspired graduates to embrace their roles as future leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
Speaking under the theme “Shaping the Future with Knowledge, Creativity, and Excellence, she urged the graduating class to reflect on the deeper meaning of their academic journey and the path that lies ahead.
“Knowledge is the cornerstone of our journey. Over the past months and years, you have immersed yourselves in learning, acquiring the skills and expertise necessary to excel in your chosen fields. This knowledge will serve as your foundation as you step into a workforce that is ever-evolving” she said.
Miss Boa- Amponsem highlighted the importance of lifelong learning but stressed that knowledge alone would not be sufficient.“It is your creativity that will set you apart in an era where innovation drives success.Your ability to think critically and creatively will be your greatest asset.”
She encouraged students to harness their unique talents to solve problems and seize opportunities in diverse fields, including the beauty and fashion industry areas where the institution has built a strong reputation.
“Striving for excellence means continuously improving and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. It is about dedicating yourself to your craft and taking pride in your work, as you stand on the threshold of your future, know that you are equipped to make a difference. You are not just graduates, you are future leaders, innovators, and change makers. Congratulations, Class of 2025. You have been empowered to succeed” she mentioned.
The education centre which started as a beauty and slimming salon in the living room of the CEO, has trained over four thousand students worldwide with three branches in Accra, Kumasi and Denu. The institute now operates as a full-fledged beauty clinic providing quality education and services.
