A member of the main opposition National Democratic Congress’s communications team has negated the governing New Patriotic Party’s claims that it has created jobs for the teeming unemployed youth adding that the party has succeeded in only creating jobs for family people in the party.
According to Alhaji Naziru, the only jobs the party has succeeded in creating since it came to power was to create jobs for the family of the president and key members of the party.
He said NPP has succeeded in creating jobs by sacking people who were duly engaged by the public service and giving out their positions to family people of the president.
Alhaji Naziru made this comment on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show on Accra-based Happy FM.
When majority of the youth who played all manner of roles in ensuring that the NPP comes to power have neglected family people are enjoying.
He claimed that the time to share the stars of war, the president has succeed in giving the stars to his immediate family people at the detriment of people who toiled for the party in the last elections.
It is only under the administration of Nana Addo that a daughter of the president was appointed to head an institution he posited.
Now in the NPP the youth who are close to the appointees of the president are catered for and those not close are left with nothing except being close to the president he said.
He says the cronyism is so much alarming in the party that big shots in the party are disengaging duly engaged personalities for their sons and daughters to takeover.
