A member of the communications team of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has revealed that majority of the elements in the main opposition party are bent on seeing the Nana Addo’s government failed even before his four-year tenure ends.
Davis Opoku Ansah otherwise known in the political circles as OPK made this revelation on the Epa Daben Daben show when he appeared as a panelist on Accra –based Happy FM.
According to him, the NDC and its elements are haunted by the achievements of the president barely one year in government.
He said the NDC cannot just come to terms with the achievements of the president.
He says in the history of Ghana, over ninety senior secondary students have been enrolled in the government’s flagship programme Free Senior High School.
They want the president to fail but once the hand of God is on the over seventy year old, his administration will triumph he said.
He noted that the likes of Alex Segbefia, a former minister of Health in the NDC administration should bow his head in shame for inciting Ghanaians workers against the laudable initiatives of the managers of the National Health Insurance Scheme.
He said even though the decision for workers to contribute one percent of their annual salaries for the sustenance of NHIS, he (Segbefia) is going round telling workers to kick against the initiatives.
