OVER 70 FASHION DESIGNERS NOMINATED FOR 2016 e.TV GHANA FASHION AWARDS
The 2016 e.TV Ghana Fashion Awards has attracted over 70 fashion designer and models who has been nominated in various categories to be considered for honours at this year’s ceremony. The list consists of both popular and emerging designers and models in the fashion industry.
The event comes off on Saturday November 19 at the Mercedes Benz Showroom at the Silver Star Towers within the Airport City in Accra.
According to Malebo Phage, the Head of e.TV Ghana, “this year’s awards has received more nominations and we are happy of the increased interest that the general public and fashion designers have put in this event. This gives us enough hope that the fashion industry in Ghana is growing and giving more opportunity to the public.’’ We are particularly happy of the fact that more new and emerging designers are participating in this year’s event, he added.
The awards categories are Best Designer of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year, Male Model of the Year, Female Model of the Year, Accessories Designer of the Year (Jewellery and Beads Category), Accessories Designer of the Year (Hair Bands, Shoes, Bags Category), Fashion Photographer of the Year and Celebrity Fashion Icon of the Year.
