6 trainee nurses arrested for attempting to kill director

Police at Tafo-Nhyiasoin the Ashanti Region have arrested at least six students of Afia Serwaa Kobi Ampem Nursing Training College in Kumasi and on a hunt for others for threatening and attempting to kill the Director of the institution.
According to information gathered by mynewsgh.com, students were arrested in a swoop by the police on Monday night following threats on the life of the director, Mr Owusu King.
The armed policemen managed to arrest six but several others are currently at large according to Mr. Owusu King who confirmed the incident to mynewsgh.com.
He alleged that the suspects mostly final years students of the school were caught stealing mattresses and other belongings of the institution.
“So we warned them against the act because stealing is criminal”, the Director of the Institution exclusively explained to our reporter in the region.
“We tried to suspend them but they went into hiding at the female hostels which is also illegal”, Mr. Owusu King added.
According to him, while he was relaxed at home after the day’s work on Monday night, some students of the school numbering twenty stormed his residents with machetes and other deadly weapons attempting to take his life.
“Around 9:25 PM they came to my house with machetes and deadly weapons to beat me to death. ….So I had to call the police to come to my rescue”, Mr.Owusu King stated.
Checks at by our reporter Kwabena Danso-Dapaah at Tafo-Nhyiaso Divisional Police Command had it that the six suspects will be officially charged and arraigned before court later this today
