Tamale based Inusah Munkaila couldn’t hide his elation when he was luckily picked as the ultimate winner of the Bic Shaver 40th anniversary promo, driving away a brand new Mitsubishi Space Star saloon car as his prize.
The elaborate and transparent draw took place at the Mantse Agboona park at James Town in the full glare of hundreds of patrons who has thronged the venue to witness the landmark ceremony.
Aside Munkaila who won the grand prize at the end of the raffle draw of coupons collected across the country and strictly supervised by the Ghana Gaming Commission, scores of other loyal customers of the company were also rewarded with electric gadgets and home appliances which included blenders, gas burners, irons, toasters, rice cookers, juice extractors, heaters and hampers among others.

Mr. George Nkonsah, Business Development Manager of Bic International (Ghana, Togo, Benin & Liberia) intimated that the company has sold over a billion pieces of Bic Shavers and over 15 million units globally which is the reason for rewarding its loyal consumers.

“The Bic Shaver is 40 years and we thought it prudent to reward our loyal costumers and consumers for patronizing our products over the years. In fact last year was our most successful year in terms of sales as we sold over 15 millions units of BIC 1 Shavers and I’m sure the promo contributed to this massive return in sales. We have been able to increase our Stock Keeping Unit moving from Bic I to Bic II and now Bic flex which is performing well on the market.”
