Head coach of Cameroon national team, Hugo Broos, is worried about Ghana’s record in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON), after being in the last four of the competition, six consecutive times.

Coach Bross said, Ghana represents a very tough side with very experienced players and a good track record in the competition.
“This is a team that has remained in the semi-finals and finals of the competition in the last six editions and you cannot underrate them.
“It will be a tough game because they will come with a different style, which will be very different from what Senegal presented.
“We have watched the Ghanaian team over and over again. We have devised the right strategy to outwit them and we hope to work on that, when we meet tomorrow”. He stated.
The coach said, despite some concerns about bonuses and boycott of training as reported by the media, they will play for the team and for the Cameroonian people.
“If we lose, it will be because Ghana is stronger, not because, we were disturbed by another factor.
Cameroon came out of a very difficult group which included the host nation Gabon.
They defeated tournament favourites Senegal in the quarter finals, though they entered the competition with less experienced players.
The Cameroonians, last defeated Ghana by a lone goal in the semi-finals of the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted by Ghana.
