Legendary music producer, musician and sound engineer, Appietus has mentioned some characteristics he looks out for in an artiste before producing any song for him or her.

According to him, the first thing he looks out for in an artiste who comes to him is zeal and patience.

Citing an example to Doctar Cann on Happy 98.9 FM’s Ayekoo After Drive Show, he said, “Sometime back I remember I was supposed to work with Ofori Amponsah but the day before the said day i had an issue so I couldn’t make it which got him angry”.

According to him, Ofori Amponsah came to see him the next day working and got upset but, “After seeing that I was working with his boss, Daddy Lumba, he went easy on me and sat to watch us. After a while, he noticed I was coaching Daddy Lumba on what to do and what not do and he was dumbfounded”.

The sound engineer stated that without zeal and patience it is impossible to work with anyone so he always looks out for these two before working with any artiste.

Appietus mentioned that, if all artistes would be more patient and listen to people they work with, they will go far and make each other’s work easier.
