Mahama cannot convince us that he has repented from his corrupt ways - Saka Salia

Communication Team Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Saka Salia, has said that former President Mahama cannot convince Ghanaians that he has repented from his “corrupt ways”.

According to him, the former President is still the “incompetent” president they have known him to be and as such there is no way Ghanaians will bring him back into power in 2024.

He was speaking in a panel discussion on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show when he stated: “Mahama epitomizes incompetence. He cannot convince us that he has repented from his corrupt ways and therefore Ghanaians should give him the mandate again.

For the first time, Ghanaians decided to boot away a sitting president. Nana Addo beat him to a pulp with 1 million difference and that is because Ghanaians came to accept that he was corrupt.”

Saka added that Ghanaians will never forget the hardships endured under the Mahama administration.

Meanwhile, former President Mahama climaxing his two-day ‘Thank You’ tour of the Greater Accra Region, criticized President Akufo-Addo over what he says is “an unpardonable show of disrespect and insensitivity to the plight of the suffering masses.”

He was especially worried about the millions spent on presidential trips when there were pressing concerns of the people which have been neglected.
