Hearts of Oak midfielder Gladson Awako has been recalled to join the senior team as they continue with preparations ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup play-off second leg against JS Saoura of Algeria.
Awako recently returned to training after his impasse with the club was sorted.
The midfielder started training with the youth team Auroras and was at the stadium to support the team in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup first leg against JS Saoura which they won 2-0 on Sunday.
Happy Sports understands that Gladson Awako has been called to join the senior team to prepare for the second leg game against JS Saoura on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak is likely to be without star player Salifu Ibrahim who picked up an injury in the first leg.
Gladson Awako’s inclusion will be a huge boost for the side following Emmanuel Nettey’s poor form and Salifu Ibrahim’s injury.
The team is currently training in Prampram and will depart to Algeria on Wednesday.
