HappyFM brings together Zongo Communities with Salah Food Festival

Pacesetting Ghanaian radio brand, Happy98.9FM brings to its listeners the 2022 Salah Food Festival.

The Salah Food Festival is a cooking competition between Zongo communities to decide which community amongst the lot has the best cooks in the country.

Making this year’s contest grander, Happy98.9FM and its partners have made available a prize pot worth GH₵20,000 with amazing products including a big cow.

The contest which will start with intra community-based cookout will see the best in the community represent it in the grand finale at the forecourt of the Chief Imam’s residence at Fadama.

Speaking on the modalities of the contest, Programmes Manager of Happy98.9FM, Elwoode Mantey explained the concept of the contest. “The Salah Food Festival is not just an avenue for the communities to showcase their cooking prowess but will also serve as a platform to foster unity amongst these communities. “

Communities to participate in the contest include Nima, Abeka, Ashaiman, Kasoa, Fadama, Mamobi, Alajo, Gaskia Zongo/Sabo Zongo, Tuba Zongo, Madina.
