Hiablor Tours and Road Trips, an international tourism and travel planning organisation, in collaboration with Happy 98.9FM, and YFM has dined and offered career counselling to Foster kids at the Frafraha Foster Home located in the Adentan Municipality.

The event that seeks to give back to society came off on Wednesday, 28th December, 2022.

Emmanuel Dordoe, founder of Hiablor, who led the delegation of professionals, said it was a beautiful experience dining with the kids and providing them with career guidance and counselling.

“We came here today to dine with these kids and give them the support they need. This is time for members of Hiablor Tours and Road Trips, staff of Happy FM and YFM, and other diasporans in Ghana for the December festivities to give back to society.

Within the group here today are Lawyers, Journalists, Engineers who took turns to take the children through their professions and critical life lessons,” he stated.

According to Emmanuel Dordoe, providing such a rare opportunity for the children to interact with persons practising their dream jobs and careers is the best gift anyone can give a child.

On his part Elwoode Mantey, Programmes Manager of Happy 98.9FM commended the Frafraha Foster Home for giving the needed training and grooming the children for the good of society and called on philanthropist, private and government institutions to continue supporting the home.

Let me be Oliver Twist and ask for more, the managers of the foster are doing a marvellous work for soceity and i am calling on other organisations to contue supporting them. We all know donations are usually the main source of funding for Foster homes across the country, so lets do more for them, ” he encouraged.

The Frafraha Foster Home was founded in the 1970s by some Ghanaians and a German missionary, the home trains and groom orphans for the good of society.
