The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Aseidu Nketia, says he is confident in his party’s victory in the upcoming 2024 elections.

In a press conference held at the party’s headquarters, Aseidu Nketia cited multiple internal research findings indicating a one-touch victory and a convincing working majority in Parliament.

However, he indicated that the NDC remains vigilant, as he cautions against complacency.

He emphasized that while polls provide insights, the real impact is determined by those responsible for counting the votes.

The Chairman expressed concern over the fairness of the electoral process, pointing to the influence wielded by their opponents who control state machinery.

Aseidu Nketia stated, “We will not relent until every vote is cast and counted. We will not rest until every Ghanaian is protected.”

The statement highlights the opposition’s worries about the fairness of the impending elections and underlines their commitment to ensuring a transparent and fair electoral process.
