Former President John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has declared that his party is resolute in its mission to emerge victorious in the December 7 elections, in order to salvage Ghana from the debilitating economic and political quagmire that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has created.

At the funeral service of former Minister of Information, John Tia Akologo, in Duusi, Talensi District, Upper East Region, John Mahama addressed the gathering, stating that an NDC victory in the upcoming elections would not only be a triumph for the party but also a victory for the entire nation, as it would mark a crucial step towards rescuing Ghana from its current challenges and setting it on a path to progress.

“Our resolve is to emerge victorious in this election, not for personal gain or party interests, but for the sake of Ghana’s future. This contest is not merely between NDC and NPP, but a choice between Ghana’s progress and the NPP’s mismanagement. We aim to reset our nation’s trajectory and rescue it from the crisis perpetrated by the current administration,” he said.
