Hasaacas Ladies present Malta Guinness Women's Premier League trophy to Betika Ghana

Hasaacas Ladies, the newly crowned champions of the 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, paid a courtesy visit to Betika Ghana on Wednesday, June 12.

The team presented the trophy to their sponsors, Betika, who are committed to supporting their success in the long term having signed a partnership deal ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season.

Betika Ghana’s Country Manager, John Khawam, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, “We are in this for the long haul and are ready to help our team whichever way we can achieve more successes.”

Hasaacas Ladies’ secured the 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League title by defeating Apem Darkoa Ladies 2-1 in the final on June 8 at the University of Ghana Stadium.

After the victory over the weekend, Betika made a cash presentation to the playing body.

As champions, they will participate in the WAFU B Champions League qualifiers in Abidjan and potentially the CAF Women’s Champions League.
