Second Lady, Samira Bawumia has called on Ghanaians to elect a transformative and innovative leader capable of advancing the nation’s economic, social, and infrastructural development.

She highlighted the digitalization achievements of Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, emphasizing that he is the right candidate to lead Ghana, especially in this era of technology and digital innovation.

Addressing a gathering of voters in the Dormaa Central Constituency as part of her Bono Regional tour on Thursday, August 29, 2024, Samira Bawumia underscored that the NPP’s 2024 flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is a humble leader with all the necessary leadership qualities.

She stressed the importance of embracing bold solutions and doing things differently as a nation to achieve better results, urging voters to support a leader who can accelerate the country’s development.

The Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central and former Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu, also expressed confidence in the NPP’s ability to retain the Dormaa Central seat.

He noted that the party has held the seat since winning it in 2000, attributing this success to good governance and the numerous developmental projects in the constituency.

He highlighted the party’s efforts to win over Zongo communities, a significant improvement compared to previous years. He encouraged the electorate to vote massively for both himself and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to continue the NPP’s good governance, alleviate hardship, and build a better future for generations to come.
