2024 second Edition of Regional town Hall meetings to take place in Koforidua on September 3rd

The second Edition of the 2024 Regional Town hall Meetings and Exhibition is expected to takes place at Centre for National Culture, Koforidua in the Eastern Region on September 3, 2024.

The town Hall meeting, under the auspices of the Information Ministry seeks to promote engagements with citizens and inclusive governance.

The First edition of the town hall meeting took place in the Greater Accra Region on August 6, 2024 at the Teacher’s Hall where government officials provided updates on developmental projects and interacted with the Public.

In the first edition, Information Minister, Fatimatu Abubakar, together with Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Anim Adam and Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Titus Glover highlighted measures to stabilize the economy, ways to improve infrastructure in the Greater Accra Region and other parts of the country.

The second Edition expected to take place in Koforidua will have Seth Kwame Acheampong, Eastern Regional Minister, Fatimatu Abubakar, Minister of Information, Dr. Alex Ampaabeng, Deputy Minister for Finance and Dr. Anthony Nsia-Asare, Presidential Advisor on Health.

These dignitaries will engage the people directly on issues that about education, healthcare, and key infrastructure projects undertaken by the government.

Town hall meetings will take place in all 16 Regions.
