The Minority in Parliament has sharply criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address (SONA), describing his leadership as a lesson in how not to govern a country.

Reacting to the President’s address on the floor of Parliament, Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah stated, “Mr. President’s tenure will serve as a timely reminder of how not to govern a country.” He accused the government of failing to address the pressing concerns of Ghanaians, highlighting economic challenges and governance issues that have left many citizens in despair.

Despite his strong criticism, he reassured Ghanaians that hope is on the horizon under the leadership of former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC). “Let me also be quick to assure the good people of Ghana that hope is on its way. Embrace John Dramani Mahama and the NDC. He can once again glean a better future from the throes of despair,” he said.

The Deputy Minority Leader expressed confidence in Mahama’s ability to restore Ghana’s lost glory, promising a renewed focus on development and national unity. “Together, we will work hard to lift ourselves from this historic low and reclaim our place as the Black Star of Africa once again,” he added.
