Ghanaian Traditional Priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has urged the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, to immediately order the arrest of all former government officials in the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration who were involved in financial scandals or corruption.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with happyghana.com during President Mahama’s inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, January 7, 2024, Nana Kwaku Bonsam expressed concern about numerous financial scandals that occurred under the NPP government.

He criticized former President Akufo-Addo for failing to address these issues and called on President Mahama to take decisive action against those implicated.

He specifically mentioned Cecilia Dapaah, highlighting the large sums of money allegedly found in her residence. According to Nana Kwaku Bonsam, if President Mahama takes such steps, it would win the trust of Ghanaians and strengthen the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s chances in the 2028 elections.
