The special committee mandated to investigate the chaos at the appointment’s committee is expected to submit its report to the speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin today, February 20, 2025.

The committee, who were given 10 days to complete investigations, demanded additional time to complete its work.

The committee chaired by Ho West Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah, was tasked to identify members of Parliament responsible for the chaos that happened during the vetting of ministerial nominees on January 30, 2025.

The special committee report will help the speaker to make decisions to prevent such incidents from happening in the near future.
