One of Ghana’s pacesetting radio brands, Happy98.9FM as part of engagement with loyal listeners will bring its community engagement initiative ‘Happy On Wheels” to Agbogbloshie Market on Thursday March 27, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm.

The event is aimed at engaging residents and traders at the market on issues that are of importance in their daily lives.

‘Happy on Wheels’ is an initiative by Happy FM aimed taking radio closer to its audience as part of the stations’ community engagement objective.

As part of efforts to ensure safety in communities, the initiative will feature experts from National Road Safety Authority who will provide education on essential road safety tips while representatives from the National Fire Service will also share vital first hand information on education on safety measures to protect lives and property.

The people of Agbogbloshie and those living in its environs will experience a live session of Ghana’s favorite political talk show, “Epa Hoa Daben” live at the Agbogbloshie Market.

Progams Manager for Happy FM , Kwabena Ampong emphasized the importance of such community outreach programs saying, “at Happy FM, we are interested in the progress and safety of every community that is why we have taken it upon our selves to educate these people on how to prevent fire outbreaks. One of the common happening we witness in the country has to do with fire outbreaks in our markets. I will like to use this opportunity to encourage people at Agbogbloshie Market to come massively to the event so that together we can curb the issues of fire outbreaks in our markets and accidents on our roads.”
