The National Service Authority (NSA) has addressed growing concern over delays in issuing service certificates to the 2023 batch of teacher trainees from Colleges of Education.
In a statement released by the Authority on Wednesday, May 7, management acknowledged the widespread concern expressed on various social media platforms regarding the delay.
The certificates, which are issued following the successful completion of mandatory national service, are crucial for the affected individuals’ employment opportunities, academic pursuits, and overall professional development.
“The Authority fully understands the inconvenience this delay may pose, especially in relation to employment opportunities, further academic pursuits, and overall professional advancement,” the statement noted.
NSA assured affected trainees that concrete measures are being taken to expedite the processing and distribution of the certificates.
NSA emphasized that, it is working tirelessly to ensure the certificates are dispatched promptly and efficiently. The Authority further appealed to all affected individuals to remain calm and exercise patience as efforts are made to resolve the issue.
“We deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may have caused and remain committed to resolving the issue as quickly as possible,” they added.
