IERPP Reviews First 120 Days of NDC Administration

The Institute of Economic Research and Public Policy (IERPP) has presented a detailed review of all initiatives and projects undertaken by the NDC administration within its first 120 days in office.

The think tank’s review, themed “The 120 Days Accountability Showdown: Are We Resetting Or Repeating The Past,” gave a breakdown of each project, measured against the promises made by the NDC during the 2024 campaign.

Projects were categorized under four sections: Governance and Accountability, Economic Reset, Social Intervention, and Energy and Environment. Findings were presented by Professor Isaac Boadi, Dr. George Domfe, Dr. Frank Bannor, and Dr. Kwesi Nyame-Baaf.

Speaking to journalists, Dr. Frank Bannor stated that the findings and scores given to the NDC were based on a non-partisan assessment of how each policy was initiated and implemented in line with the party’s promises.

“The IERPP as a think tank has assessed the initiatives and policies implemented by the government within the past 120 days of the NDC administration. If the government does not consider these discrepancies pointed out, we will reverse our economic gains,” he said.

According to IERPP, 25 promises made by President John Dramani Mahama were analyzed and averaged a performance score of 36.20%—a result the institute says reflects a failure to meet the expectations of Ghanaians
