Award-winning Jamaica Raggae artise Gramps Morgan has named Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Jupiter and Samini as his favourite dancehall artistes in Ghana.
Gramps, who is a member of the legendary reggae group known as Morgan Heritage made up of five siblings, intimated that despite having to work with Stonebwoy, other Ghanaian dancehall artistes like Shatta Wale, Samini and Jupiter are all top dancehall artistes he really admires.
Speaking to Happy FM’s DJ Advicer on his afternoon show ‘Ayekoo’, Gramps Morgan further spoke about his relationship with Shatta Wale and Samini.
“Aside Stonebwoy whom I always talk about, I love Shatta Wale, Samini and Jupiter. I have met Samini. He is a good friend of mine because he has the same desires.Samini actually met my father before he met me. For Shatta Wale, I have spoken to him on twitter through DM. He was supposed to come to the last music clinic but he couldn’t make it because he was busy so I haven’t got the chance to meet Shatta Wale yet and these guys are big guys like in Jamaica we Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Sizzla and Shabba Ranks.” Gramps Morgan told Happy FM in an exclusive interview.
Gramps Morgan is one of the children of raggae legend Denroy Morgan.
