Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed concern over the current state of governance under President John Mahama, stating that many of Mahama’s promises have yet to be fulfilled.
Speaking at the commissioning of the Bantama Constituency Office, Akufo-Addo praised the achievements of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during his tenure, emphasizing that key policies implemented by his administration brought significant progress to the country.
He noted that the NPP’s campaign for the 2028 general elections would be anchored on the strong foundation laid by himself and former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
“We did a marvelous job that the NPP can proudly highlight during the 2028 campaign,” he stated.
Akufo-Addo also underscored the need for unity within the party, stressing that internal cohesion would be crucial should the NPP return to power in 2028.
