New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is projecting a commanding victory in the Tano North Constituency as the party heads into its 2026 presidential primaries.
Touring the Ahafo Region as part of his campaign, Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence of securing at least 90% of votes in Tano North an improvement on the 84% endorsement he received in the 2023 primaries.
Speaking during an interaction with delegates on the first day of his regional tour which also took him to Tano South and Asutifi North the former Vice President thanked party supporters for their unwavering loyalty. He described Tano North’s consistent backing as a strong reflection of his longstanding bond with the grassroots.
