The National Service Authority (NSA) has released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 6,867 eligible Nurses and Midwives to enable their enrollment for the 2026/27 National Service Year.

According to a statement released and signed by Ruth Dela Seddoh, Director-General of the NSA, the PIN codes were generated following the submission of a list of qualified Nurses and Midwives by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana on Friday, January 16, 2026.

The list includes candidates who successfully passed the March/April 2025 Licensing Examinations (minor season) conducted by the Council.

All eligible Nurses and Midwives have been asked to visit the NSA website at https://gnsa.gov.gh/home click on the portal, and access their PIN codes using their Student ID numbers and dates of birth.

Prospective service personnel are reminded that a registration fee of GHC41.00 must be paid via Mobile Money on any network to gain access to the enrollment platform.

The online registration exercise runs from January 19 to January 23, 2026, and the NSA urges all prospective National Service personnel to complete their registration within this period.

The Authority also reminded the public that, under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen who is 18 years or older and has completed an accredited tertiary institution, including universities and Nursing Training Colleges is legally required to undertake national service.
