Finally, the much-publicized Reign Album launch was held yesterday 13 October 2018 at the Fantasy Dome inside Trade Fair in Accra and it lived up to the expectations. Shatta Wale proved he is the King of Ghana Music and held on to the title.

There were best moments at the launch that will get people talking for days to come. Besides the thousands of people who gathered to show love to Shatta Wale, other things made the venue the right place to be last night and will be archived in Ghana music history books forever.

After performing “Low Tempo” with Shatta Michy who now wants to be known as Michy, his baby mama, Shatta Wale surprised her with a marriage proposal to shame critics who thought he will never mention it. It was just loving watching both of them. Michy deserves all the love.

Another best moment was when Shatta Wale chose the Album Launch stage to react to the Alumi chain wearing diss from Sarkodie in his “My Advice” freestyle.

Shatta Wale queried if alumi wearing artist can organize such a successful event that brought thousands of people to support. He also reacted to the wee smoking and tramadol tag attributed to his fans and rubbished all that “foolish” accusations.

When they got down to the business of the album launch Shatta Wale offered the first copy for sale at whopping GH¢100,000 but surprisingly, a businessman called Sledge and his wife offered to buy the first copy for GH¢150,000. According to them, Shatta Wale deserves more than he is asking.
