The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vodafone Ghana, Yolanda Zoleka Cuba has urged corporate Ghana to integrate modern digital trends in its daily business operations in order to experience exponential growth.
The Vodafone CEO made this known at a Barclays Innovation Workshop – a one-day brainstorming platform organised by Vodafone Global Enterprise to interact with Senior Management of Barclays to understand their business priorities and challenges and how technology can help address them.
Commenting on the imperative to deploy digitization in every facet of businesses in Ghana, Yolanda said:
“The modern world of work is intrinsically linked with digitization the world over. Success in the corporate world requires a whole paradigm shift in the tools employed by corporate organisations. At Vodafone, we will continue to push digitization as an approach that should be embraced by everybody. We cannot afford to leave anyone digitally behind.”
The CEO said the workshop is purposely to help organizations to continually make strides in their spheres of influence:
“There is the need to constantly refresh organizational processes across all businesses. I am particularly excited that today’s Innovation Workshop with Barclays will help advance its digital needs as we agree on ideas and initiatives that the two organisations can jointly pursue together for the common good.’’

Mrs. Patience Akyianu, Managing Director of Barclays Bank, at the opening of the workshop, said:

‘’ We do recognize the critical role which technology will continue to play in banking. If we are to remain relevant to our segments and customers, then strategic partnerships; continuous innovation; increased digitalization; and collaborations of this nature is the right approach to support the projected growth of our business and the communities in which we operate.’’

The Innovation Workshop is a global initiative by Vodafone Group Enterprise in collaboration with its key customers and partners to accelerate the exploration, validation, co-creation and go-to-market of innovative solutions to improve organizational performance
