The first half of extra time has ended & the #BlackStars and #CarthageEagles are still locked at 1-1. Will we get a winner or are penalties looming?#AFCON2019 pic.twitter.com/15xW32ROdz

The #BlackStars equalize!

Rami Bedoui scores a sensational but unlucky own goal which sends the tie into extra time as we're locked at 1-1 after full time ⚽#AFCON2019 pic.twitter.com/xxGcTHjwT9

— 🇬🇭 Ghana Football Association (@ghanafaofficial) July 8, 2019

Tunisia have just brought on defender Rami Bedoui on to seal out the game. Within two minutes, disaster.

Ghana have a free-kick from deep, which is sent forward rather hopefully by Mubarak Wakaso, and Bedoui gets his angles all wrong as he heads the ball backwards and he gives his own goalkeeper no chance.

A Bedoui own goal and we’re heading for extra time.

50 mins: Ghana 0-0 Tunisia

Ghana have started the second half brightly. Samuel Owusu shows a good burst of pace and some nifty skill to get to the byeline. He tries to catch out Mouez Hassen at his near post, but the goalkeeper gets down quickly and keeps it out.

The look that Dede Ayew is giving Victor Gomes is exactly the look most South Africans would give to ref Lamptey, remember him? #SSFootball #AFCON2019 pic.twitter.com/N4fAUdaklS

This is the Referee Victor Gomez from South Africa 🇿🇦 who disallow fantastic goal scored by Dede Ayew

That Dede Ayew goal was a nice goal. Would have been the goal of the tournament😭 #BlackStars

— TKJ – Hustle out now (@talentedkwamejr) July 8, 2019

This is a clear goal from Dede Ayew. We've been robbed. If we lose this game this referee is dead. How can this be a hand ball? #GHATUN #EIBAFCON #AFCON2019

Not a bad performance by the Stars, the John Boye yellow card pretty worrisome. If the Stars can build up that momentum from the last 10 minutes before the whistle, a win in 90 minutes is possible #AFCON2019

Tight and tense at the moment for both side.Ghana struggling to cake through the defense of the Tunisians. The Tunisians keep pressing the defense of the stars.

But the Ghana corner is headed away at the back post and Tunisia quickly counter. Taha Khenissi thinks he is through on goal for Tunisia but an excellent saving challenge from a sliding Andy Yiadom ends the danger.

Yiadom had to time his tackle well or would’ve conceded a penalty but he got it spot on.
