Ghanaian soul musician, Sherifa Gunu has said that she seeks answers to why there has been no development in her vicinity for all these years when we claim we have leaders.

Interviewed on Happy FM’s Epahoa Daben political show with host, Kwame Afrifa on her ‘Susupon’ fighting campaign, she questioned, ‘’Why is it that for all these years, we have a place called parliament and we always elect people to be there but cannot see what they have done for all those years passed?’’.

‘’Why will people occupy seats as Ministers, MPs and others but at the end of the day, when I sleep and wake up, my area is still like that? We have Assembly men but the same things will be there till they see that it is time for elections. Why? ’’, she demanded answers.

Sherifa commented that Ghanaians are totally confused people, however, she wished that our leaders would change their ineffectual behaviour to help develop our country.

The legendary musician revealed that her next agenda is to go on a world tour which she calls the ‘Sherifa Gunu 2020 tour’, and on to the African Youth Susupon Club tour, as well as appearing on festival stages to talk about the dreadful behaviour of some Africans which is in turn affecting their countries and the African continent as a whole.
