Kotoko fan assaulted by Patrick Allotey denies out of court settlement

Michael Siaw, the Asante Kotoko fan assaulted by boxer Patrick Allotey in an interview on Ghana’s number one station Happy FM says he will pursue the matter and will not accept any out of court settlement.

Siaw was assaulted by Patrick Allotey during the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Allotey has been arrested by the Police and Happy Sports understands that he will be arraigned before court for prosecution.

According to Michael Siaw, there has been pleas from Patrick Allotey’s team for him to accept an out of court settlement on the matter which he has declined.

“Yes I have had a lot of calls from people pleading on his part for us to take the issue out of court”, he told Happy FM.

“I want him to come to court for us to settle the issue. I thank Kotoko supporters Union for the help and support they have shown me”.

Despite the injury sustained as a result of going to the stadium to support Asante Kotoko, Siaw insists he will always troop to the stadium to support the team anytime they come to Accra.

“I will always be at the stadium to go support Asante Kotoko. I entreat all supporters to also come and support the team. Asante Kotoko is a family and they have showed my immense support”, he ended.
