Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has announced the resignation of its head coach, Abdul Karim Zito Kabutey, with immediate effect.
In a statement issued by the club, management confirmed it has accepted Zito’s decision to step down and expressed appreciation for his services during his time with the Porcupine Warriors.
The club also wished him well in his future endeavours.
The statement did not provide details on the reasons behind the resignation.
Management noted that the club’s new technical direction will be communicated in due course as fans and stakeholders await the next steps for the Kumasi-based giants.
