The Accra Social Tennis Club on Saturday, December 20, brought its 2025 activities to a close with a final playoff and social gathering, bringing together patrons and members in a celebratory atmosphere.
The club has, over the years, established itself as a vibrant platform that promotes healthy living while fostering a strong sense of community among professionals, impact makers and trailblazers across various industries.
Chairman of the Accra Social Tennis Club, Nii Marmah Sankah Esq described the year as one worthy of celebration, citing the personal and collective achievements of members as milestones the club is proud to uphold.
“As our name suggests, this is a social tennis club. This is social tennis; it’s not competitive. We come together to help and support one another. Beyond staying healthy and keeping fit, we motivate each other. It is more like a community,” he said.

Patrons were commended for their unwavering support throughout the year, while members were acknowledged for their consistent participation in club activities.
The gathering also featured a special moment to celebrate birthday celebrants for the month of December, including Dr Andrews Boye and patron Prempeh Bannerman, alongside other members who celebrated birthdays from August.

Following a display of sportsmanship during a series of tennis matches, members later transitioned into an afternoon of merrymaking, marked by music, singing and dancing, bringing the year to a close with gratitude and fulfilment.
