Ghana’s Black Meteors arrived in Egypt on Monday night ahead of the upcoming Africa U-23 Cup of Nations which kicks off from 8-22 November, 2019.

The team left the shores of Ghana on Monday afternoon to Cairo where they will be based for the group matches.

The Black Meteors touched down in Cairo on Monday night to ensure they get enough days to wrap up preparations and acclimatize before the start of the crucial tournament.

Ghana will begin their campaign against Cameroon on Friday 8 November, 2019 at the Cairo International Stadium.

The second game against Mali comes off on 11 November and the finale game against Egypt will be played on the 15 November.

The Black Meteors will be hoping to secure one of the three slots and book a place in next year’s Olympic Games to be staged in Tokyo, Japan.

Ghana will be hoping to end its 15-year wait and qualify for the Olympic Games next year.
