Ghana’s Black Meteors have been drawn against tough oppositions in the upcoming Africa U-23 Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt.
The Black Meteors have been paired alongside Egypt, Mali and Cameroon in Group A whilst Group B consist of Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Cote D’Ivoire
Ghana will begin their campaign against Cameroon in the group opener on November 8 before they take on West Africa neighbors Mali and the final game against hosts Egypt.
The three best teams in the tournament will book a place in the Olympic Games next year
Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his players will be eyeing for qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games
Ghana will be hoping to return to the Olympic Games for the first time since 2004.
