President John Dramani Mahama has called on international investors to tap into Africa’s vast economic potential, describing the continent as “the world’s most dynamic emerging market” and positioning Ghana as the most reliable entry point.
Speaking at the 8th Africa-Singapore Business Forum on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, President Mahama said, “Africa is investable, and Ghana is your reliable gateway to the continent.”
He highlighted Africa’s youthful population of 1.4 billion, rapid urbanization, and digital connectivity, projecting that by 2030, over 700 million consumers will reside in African cities.
“The African Continental Free Trade Area has unlocked a $3.4 trillion market. This is a market ready for scaled solutions—especially in renewable energy, technology, and trade”, President Mahama told the gathering.
Mahama reaffirmed Ghana’s readiness to serve as a stable and investor-friendly hub.
“We offer the political stability, infrastructure, and strategic location investors need to succeed in Africa”, he revealed.
The forum brought together business leaders and policymakers to strengthen trade and investment ties between Africa and Asia.
